Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc.(“Liquidmetal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through our website, liquidmetal.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

2. Information You Provide to Us
When you submit a form on the Site — including our Contact, Get a Quote, Design Guide, White Papers, and Blog Subscribe forms — we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, company name, phone number, and the contents of your message or request. We also collect information about how you arrived at our Site (such as the search term, advertisement, or referring website that brought you here), which is associated with your form submission.

3. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, approximate geographic location, the pages you view, and how you interact with the Site. The specific technologies we use are:

Website hosting (Webflow)
Our Site is hosted by Webflow, Inc., which processes visitor IP addresses and sets cookies necessary for the Site to function.

Google Analytics
‍We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, including pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives this data on our behalf. You may opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on.

Google Ads conversion measurement
When you arrive at our Site by clicking one of our advertisements, cookies store an advertising click identifier so we can measure which advertisements result in inquiries. This is used for measurement of our advertising.

Google Signals advertising features
We have enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features (Google Signals), which allows Google to associate visit information with the Google accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association, for purposes including cross-device reporting and ads personalization. You can opt out of ads personalization through your Google Ads Settings.

Marketing attribution (Attributer)
We use a first-party attribution tool that stores, in cookies, information about how you arrived at our Site — such as the traffic source, search campaign, referring website, and the first page you visited. If you later submit a form, this information is included with your submission so we understand which marketing channels generate inquiries.

Customer relationship management (Insightly)
Our CRM provider, Insightly, Inc., receives the information you submit through our forms. Insightly also provides a tracking technology on our Site that uses cookies to record the pages you visit; if you submit a form, your browsing activity on our Site may be associated with your contact record so we can better respond to your inquiry

Form protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
Our forms are protected by reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information such as device and application data and sends it to Google to determine whether a visitor is human. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service

Embedded video (YouTube)
Some pages embed videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set cookies unless you play a video. If you play an embedded video, Google/YouTube may set cookies subject to Google's privacy policy.

Content delivery networks.
The Site loads software libraries from third-party content delivery networks (including Cloudflare and Amazon Cloud Front), which process your IP address in order to deliver those files.

4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to: respond to your inquiries and quote requests; provide requested materials such as our Design Guide and white papers; operate, secure, and improve the Site; understand which pages and marketing channels are effective; measure the performance of our advertising; and communicate with you about our products and services. We use Site analytics in aggregate form to make business and marketing decisions.

5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with the service providers identified in Section 3, which process it on our behalf to provide hosting, analytics, advertising measurement, form protection, and customer relationship management; with professional advisors as needed; and as required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights. If Liquidmetal is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Cookies and Your Choices
Most of the technologies in Section 3 rely on cookies — small text files stored by your browser. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; instructions are available in your browser's help documentation. Blocking cookies may affect some Site functionality, such as forms. You may opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on referenced in Section 3, and out of Google ads personalization.

7. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

8. Data Retention and Security
We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain our customer and prospect records, and meet legal and business requirements. We use safeguards to protect personal information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy
The Site is a business-to-business website intended for professional audiences. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

10. Visitors from the European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are located in the EEA or UK, the following additional terms apply. Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. is the controller of personal data collected through the Site. We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of steps at your request prior to entering a contract (responding to inquiries and quotes); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and marketing our business; and your consent where required for non-essential cookies. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@liquidmetal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Personal data is processed in the United States; where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses entered into with our service providers.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be indicated by a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
