Liquidmetal's material properties are ideally suited for medical applications.

We create complex, sophisticated shapes and parts from our amorphous Liquidmetal alloys using an injection molding process similar to plastic. Liquidmetal has 2-3 times the strength and hardness of both stainless steel and titanium. Our alloy is a Zr/Ti based system which is very corrosion resistant, has a high elastic strain limit and non-magnetic.

Our customers utilize the unique properties of Liquidmetal to produce complex, sophisticated medical products with high hardness, durability and low thermal conductivity. We manufacture parts for the medical device industry and have ISO biocompatibility data available upon request after a NDA is executed. Our customers have tested Liquidmetal and report successful results in autoclave sterilization processes.
